Field Trials
The Kennel Club Field Trial Regulations, sometimes known as the J Regulations, are vital reading. No competitor should enter a field trial unless they are fully conversant with the current Kennel Club Field Trial J Regulations relevant to Spaniels.

The Kennel Club has also produced a code of best practice for Retriever field trial competitors which can be found on the website here: Code of best practice for Spaniel field trial competitors
Entries MUST be by the WEBSITE or POST only. No entries will be accepted by Email unless verbally agreed with the FT Sec.
All successful WEBSITE entries will be confirmed by email. If do not receive an email confirmation, then your entry has not been accepted. Entries can be checked on the events page you have just used to enter. Check the 'Entries' tab

Gundog Working Tests
The Kennel Club Field Trial Regulations, sometimes known as the J Regulations, also contain a subsection J(G) which refers to Gundog Working Tests. All competitors should be fully conversant with these Regulations.

The day is aimed at newcomers and seasoned compettors wantng to give young
dogs experience.
It covers:
· Steadiness to a thrown dummy
· Basic huntng skills
· Retrieving to hand
J’Regs, test scenarios, and what judges look for.
